So...my first post is a negative one Im afraid...I just returned from 18 hrs flight. I used my Sony Dac / Amp PHA2 ( not available outside Japan yet I don't think) and I listened through QC2.
The resolution was fantastic and details superb from DAC. The problem was it was so uninvolving. It reminded me of when CDs 1 st arrived...sound in absolute terms superb but just not...well...involving. This Sony Hi Res outfit same. I found myself not listening but day dreaming and/ or switch from album to album.
I'm disappointed as
I cannot pin point why Im disappointed. I just couldn't get into the music even though the improvement in detail etc from just the ipod alone was terrific?
Question...do you think this might just need a burning period. I only gave it say two hours continous play so fat?
