Bough these from new their is one small mark on one of the drivers if you can spot it:)All box asking £500 collected

I tried these with the croft amps and have heard them sound very good indeed. How did they compare with the Harbeths?:):)

Hi Jon,

Never tried the harbeths james..But did pair the kef ls50 with the croft 7r monoblocs:)

I had a listen to these when I was at Jon's place a few weeks back. Remarkable sound quality for the asking price. I can't say I noticed any marks either.

Really interesting speakers, had a look at a pair yesterday, wouldn't mind trying them in my 2nd system but I'm looking at changing my main speakers, got my eye on something else.

Hi john,

I may be interested if they can be driven by a valve amp and be sited near a wall. Also, would you be able to post them and if so any idea of rough costs?

Also, are they now £460 as per your post #23?

Graham these Kefs are pretty insensitive at 85dB but they still may be easily driven, Im afraid I don't know. The Kef spec says amplification between 25-100w, so I guess it may depend a bit on the output of your valve amp

I should say that they look stunning, I've seen a pair 'in-the-flesh' and they are quite impressive ;)
