Different flavour cartridges

I'm finding that my Nagaoka is slightly bass/midrange biased.
My At150MLX is a little bit leaner on bass, but has better tonal balance.
What I am after is something that sits inbetween the two flavours that I have.
What would you guys with more experience recommend?
How does a 2M Black compare?

that 2M black is a well balanced cart, but no experience. I only tried the 2M blue and it was a bit too cold for my taste. I think Goldring cartridges like 2000 series are very musical sounding without excess. I own a 2400, very happy.

Which Nag are you using? The cheaper ones are a bit ballsy in the bass department compared to an AT but as you move up the range they get more refined and balanced - as with a lot of cartridges I suppose.
