Hi folks,

'George' here, what system am i using at the moment? A ruddy great high-end PC with Beyerdynamic DT 331 headphones!
It seems my old 'hi-fi' days might have passed, but who knows what the future might bring?
For the foreseeable future my musical enjoyment rests in my PC rig. Lots of FLAC files and some good quality MP3's, i've also got a large CD collection to rip when i get the time.:)

Almost forgot, musical likes? mainly rock/blues, but also a wide range of artistes. I'm a big fan of the late great Gary Moore, and had the pleasure of seeing him in concert on many occasions. I went to a lot of concerts in the 70's, and still enjoy listening to singers such as Paul Carrack in concert.

Hi Martin and David, my PC is a sore point at the moment!:steam:
I received my Bushmaster MK2 of Stan yesterday, i connected it up through the toslink connection........And nothing, no sound whatsoever.
Nothing wrong with the Bushmaster, i connected it this morning (optical) to an old Toshiba DVD player and it works just fine.

My PC is my 'HI FI centre' i use VLC media player for all my music files David, i'm really disappointed at the lack of connection between Bushmaster and PC, but this appears to be a common problem for a lot of PC users. Seems like a driver issue (but i could be wrong) So i have hundreds of music files that cannot utilise the benefits of the Bushmaster....For now.

Is there a section on this forum where i could request help on this issue?

George, there's a whole section under 'Digital Expressions' devoted to Beresford DACs. There are quite a few users on AOS and somebody is bound to be able to offer help and advice.
