Looking very good indeed...the port looks very smooth.. nice. When I am back in a job I will have to see if Dave would do replacement top plates for my Pathos Classic 1 mk 2 as I hate the black acrylic tops...nice polished slate would look nice and perhaps help damp the amplifier.

The bass port will be completed by a tube John has cut from solid slate with two core drills, and which he will bond to the inside of the baffle.

There will be loads of angles cut into the front face to and edges to take away from the 'squareness' and them a nice smooth polish....

Am slightly worried about how heavy they will actually be though. My car will be coming down the M1 like a speedboat o Friday.....

Very nice! how did you make the "octagonal" recess for the bass driver? did you rout it out?

Thanks

As far as I know, the main holes were cut with water-jet and then yes, the rest was ground out with a uber router of some type.

This yime tomorrow I'll be halfway up the M1 on my way to collect the finished items! :)

Hi Steve,

I can't wait to see these things assembled and up and running.
