Ear 802 pre amp for sale its in great cond my friend has had it since new, only selling because he changed whole system .i am sorry i have no pictures but it is black with gold knobs asking £700 ono PLUS POSTAGE

I can't believe that no one has snapped this up. It's a great pre-amp by any standard and the internal phono stage is difficult to equal and at this price there isn't anything better/as good. Look at it as a wonderful phono stage with a free pre-amp.

It is a requirement to supply photos with a sales thread.
What's really spooky is that it actually does help with the sale! If you can't be arsed to show some, then you shouldn't be surprised to get a lacklustre response to your ad. Harsh, but true I'm afraid.

This is a great pre-amp. I've had mine for a few years now and it has stayed whilst I've rotated power amps and speakers.

Why wouldn't you want to add a photo? It's a good looking pre!

Err... to check in what condition this particular one might be in before handing over any cash or bothering to make a journey to go see it?

I guess sending some privately before a sale goes any further will suffice and a stock photo will satisfy the conditions on AoS (which I think is a fair editorial policy in the least) but seems a refusal to do even that?

@johnsteer Does the dealer have photos of the item up online? You can move them here if so (or else the dealer's not trying very hard)

John, we've been patient, but if this ad doesn't contain any pics by the same time as this post tomorrow evening (let's say 8pm), then I'm afraid we will have to pull your ad.

The onus is on all sellers to post a picture (or pictures) of what they're selling *before* placing an ad, not afterwards.

John, sorry to trouble you....... Have seen a few of these Pre's around recently ebay etc........ are they all yours? Can you give me a rough idea of weight when packed, i am based abroad (no concern can do any purchases etc from my uk base) and would need to either ship the unit to myself or take it on the plane with me.
As you can appreciate i need to factor all these cost into my budget.
