In true madness, I suppose one could haggle the price up!

I have actually done something like this, bought some speakers on e bay, came damaged through inadequate packaging. The guy was apologetic and offered a full refund. I said that the speakers were still usable and I was prepared to keep them if he offered a partial refund.

He offered about too much as a partial refund, told him I would be happy with less. He stuck with what he offered.

Strange deal, but nice.

I wonder if it got further damage, would it be worth more?
