Hello Chaps
Just a few words of introduction. I have been reading this forum for some time and thought it about time I should join.
My music tastes are Jazz, Classical and especially Opera. I am an avid constructor of thermionic audio amplification devices of various ilk. Over the last twenty years or so I have built valve amplifiers in both push pull and single ended designs using El34's, 300B's, 2A3's and 45's, phono and line stages using ECC83's, 76's 6SN7's and 5687's etc.
I listen to vinyl and digital through various setups with a choice of ESL57's, Lowther DX4 based horns and Living Voice OBX R2's.
Current set up is:-
Vinyl: Palmer 2.5 TT, Jelco 750L tone arm, Koetsu Black Goldline, DIY JFET head amp, DIY ECC83 valve phono stage.
Digital: Vortexbox 1.9, Logitech Transporter.
Pre-amp: DIY TVC with Sowter TVC transformers.
Power amp: DIY mono block push pull EL34.
Speakers: LV OBX R2
Thanks for reading!
