I'm on here to pick the brains of less audibly challenged music lovers and audiophiles- I honestly cannot claim to be an expert, but I do appreciate quality sound
Looking for other members to offer me some advice as I look to move into the modern era

Hi & welcome to AoS.
Why don't you tell us a little about your taste in music and what you use to play it on?

Cheers

Hi, my musical interests are fairly varied, but inevitably involve guitars ! Not that I can play them though.
From early delta blues, through to classic rock.
With a cd collection of over 1000 albums, I find myself now almost 100% reliant on streaming and my current system is almost redundant, in fact it sits, in a cupboard, unconnected :-(
Such a shame as I have the following equipment- Musical Fidelity XSeries- X-A1integrated amp, X-RAY CD player, X-PLORA FM tuner, X-A50 mono bloc power amps x2, X-10D the missing link, X-PSU. Speakers are Bowers and Wilkins CDM1Special editions , B&W A6 subwoofer, Atacama speaker stands
My conundrum now as I look to go down the Sonos route is whether or not to sell my system as a complete unit or to sell as individual components- not being an expert, I am unsure as to the best way to achieve the top price.
You may frown at the Sonos idea, but given the fact that my wife and I own a pub, 90% our lives are spent away from our apartment and the beauty of a wireless system is that we can use it both upstairs and down! choose music to suit the evening from Spotify and to be totally honest, make life as simple as possible- plus, we can free up some space

Excellent!
It's nice to have another fan of the crusty old bluesmen aboard.

Welcome to AOS from another fan of Spotify:), surely though, without knowing where your apartment is, you'd be better off keeping your amp and speakers connected via Sonos, with the Sonos satellite speakers to areas where you don't want/need the quality?
