I have a very nice pair of Ditton 25 here.

They are in excellent condition, and the cabinets are virtually unmarked, except for the tops, which have the classic signs of being plant-pot stands. The grills are in extraordinarily good condition, but lack name badges. I've looked behind the passive bass radiators and the foam supports are in virtually as-new condition.

The HF2000 tweeters are in perfect working order, and I was tempted to use these for a 66 restoration project. They sell for a minimum of £70 each on ebay and elsewhere.

The one problem is that I am getting some distortion through one of the bass drivers. It may just be a loose connection; I haven't properly isolated the fault, but it wasn't there when I first got them so I'm guessing it's soluble without replacing the driver.

The tweeters plus one bass driver would fetch close to £200 and a perfectly working pair in this condition will fetch £280 plus on ebay.

So long as they can be collected I will sell for the price of a pair of HF 2000 tweeters, at £140. No offers, since if they don't sell for this I will either get the woofer repaired or just sell of all the drivers.

Any takers? It seems a shame to rip the drivers out and discard the cabinet when it is such good condition.

Ebay is the best bet for these Andrew - Would have thought you would get decent money. Obviously posting may be an issue for you due to size.

I think my best bet financially would be to sell the drivers separately on ebay. It seems a shame to waste the cabinet which is why I'd prefer to sell on the forums. However I will probably rip the drivers out if they don't find a buyer soon.
