Wonder if you could get it to focus on a bullet and slow it down (in the future when it's stronger)?

Apparently they use ultrasonics to move rain out of the way of jet fighter's windscreens, which is a different thing but slightly similar - could make mini ones to push tear gas and pepper spray away from your eyes come revolutionary protests!
