Lost Squeezebox Duet!

Hope someone can suggest a quick fix for this. I've looked on Logitech's forum to no avail but I know there are many Squeezebox users here. LMS cannot find my Duet. I have a Touch in another room that it finds no problem. I have recently replaced my router and added an extender and all networked devices are there including the Touch and controller lap tops etc. but not the Duet. I've done the usual switching on and off and ethernetted the Duet directly into my router. Any ideas anyone. Thanks.

I seem to remember this happening to me quite a long time ago. I think my Duet lost its configuration. I believe I just did a factory reset and then reconfigured with the Controller. You can do a reset by holding the button for 6 seconds until it starts blinking fast red.

If you don't have a controller and need to use a more complex config method then you may want to wait until someone else comes along with other ideas!

Thanks David. Yes I do have a controller. I was wondering about the factory reset. I will try that this evening.

Well, I asked for a quick fix. It doesn't get much quicker than six seconds on the reset button and thirty to establish the connection! Thanks, once again David.

Great news :) Hopefully it was just one of those blips that happen from time to time. I haven't had the problem since that one occasion at least 3 years ago - hence my slightly fuzzy recollection. Now you can get back to the music!
