beard feedback

is there anybody out there who is using , or as owned a pair of Beard P100 Monoblocks ? . i was fortunate (2 years ago) to be in the right place at the right time to purchase a pair of these 'beasts' (thanks simon of stockton-on-tees) and i would like to contact anybody who has owned a pair of these amps . if you can help , please contact me

M1000s I think ? P100s are stereo.

The P1000 was a stereo monster that only reached production run of 1 and apparently caused much problems for Mr Beard and was pushed forward to develop it by some Hifi News journalists, it did their rounds and then just wasn't reliable enough for production to much chagrin from Mr Beard (according to Chris Found - refused to even talk about it because of the ill feeling). I have it (needs work - a future project to send to a specialist when I have the funds. Needs a replacement power transformer - or two matching - made up, and certain cooling issues thought about further)

i have 2@ P100s converted to mono amps (but would love the M1000s , can you get me a pair?)

Hm ... M1000s. Nice. Very nice indeed. Apart from in the summer:D

Bill did make some nice looking amps. Love my BB100 lookswise too.
