hello, for sale is a pair of S&B 1:10 SUTs sold exclusively by emporium hifi.
i bought to try them with SPU but it seems that 1:20 is the minimum step up ratio this cartridge needs, unless one has a patience to fiddle with loading the secondary so it presents less than a 47k load.
otherwise, if you don't use it with a super low impedance cartridges (a few ohms, say 2-3), it's a superb device and on par with much more expensive ones.

bump - a seriously good SUT, excellent all-rounder. i've just got A23, a dedicated SUT for SPU so it has to go. if i would stick with a 20-50ohm MC cartridge (like i used for years with various 103 and benz micro), this would be a keeper - unfortunately my 2ohm SPU needs something different.

according to some, this is the same as TX102 just with a single secondary (1:10 tap).

btw these are very very quiet. actually the most quiet SUTs i've ever tried - according to S&B no need for external earthing due to the way how they are internally wired. don't know more details but at least they are dead silent.

open to offers including part/ex for another SUT with higher ratio (1:20 or 1:30) with low impedance on primary.

this is a good opportunity to get these "as new" for half the price, due to very weak euro rate at the moment. i need 400 euros only for these, instead of 800e what they cost new at the moment.

i only put very few hours on them as i switched from benz micro (for whom they are perfect) to low impedance ortofon, they aint even run in.

the 3 primary version of these retails for 3k at the moment!
