Currently has their X100 arm on, see details (http://www.inspirehifi.co.uk/x100.html) and review.
Cartridge is Ortofon Rondo Blue, very low hours (just a few LP sides).
More than happy to demo in Nantwich, bass is incredable probably the best I have ever heard from vinyl.
Deck alone £1100, full package £1550
Amazing, another one to pass me by...
That's one seriously sexy beast..
Some serious enquiries but still available... (price is firm)

This is a seriously good sounding deck that competes with some rather more expensive idlers. Don't know what Inspire do but certainly much better than standard Lenco's I have heard.
Need to sell this so now £1400. Collection only from Nantwich
Hi Dave,
When you sell this one (as no doubt you will) buy a Monarch, as it's one of the best examples of a 'fettled Technics' on the market, and IMO is even better than the Enigma.
You know how good my modded Techy sounds (which has been significantly improved since you last heard it), so trust me, the Monarch is up there with it. Go on, mate, buy one - it's only money! ;)
Marco.
P.S When am I getting an invite to your new gaff?
Hi Marco,
I already have my next turntable lined up :)
The bass on the Enigma is one of the best I have heard at any price (with a modest coil in too). There's a drive with idler wheel decks that other designs just can't match.
As soon as the new deck is set up you're welcome to come over.
Dave
I know exactly what you mean about the sense of "drive" with idler T/Ts, as I love it too, and it's extremely addictive! :)
The fact is that all T/T drive systems impart an intrinsic 'sonic signature' onto music reproduced, and so there is a fundamental 'idler sound', as indeed there is with belt and direct-drive, which if you have sufficient experience you can often identify blind!
So what's the new T/T, then? When you get it, give us a shout and I'll pop round
Marco.

Its a lovely deck, and I wish I was flush but this 160 has drained my finances alas.
