Can anyone recomend a replacement cartridge for the Sony NG 133g cartridge. It is used in an old Garrard tonearm SP25 Mk 1v which is part of a 70's music centre.

An Audio Technica AT-95E will do the job perfectly.

What's wrong with it? Replacement styli should still be available, if that's the problem. Given the age of the SP 25 then you don't need anything either fancy or pricey. Back in the late 60s when my SP25 was my pride and joy, I found the best carts, and I had a few, were either the Goldring G800 or the Shure M55e. if you want to keep it authentic, these are available on fleeabay for a few quid.
