Hi Everyone,
I've decided to move on my Monitor Audio RS 8 speakers, the full spec of which can be found here

Ive had them about 5 years, bought new from Doug Brady HiFi in Warrington in Rosenut real wood vaneer finish. I have the original boxes and packaging for them as well as both their matching floor spikes for use on carpet and feet for use on hard floors.
Condition wise they have been very well looked after and they only slight issues are a very small "dent" in one of the drivers (shown in the photos) however this does not affect their performance in any way. One of the cabinets also has 2 minor nicks to the vaneers (also shown) however since taking the photos I touched them up with some brown polish and they are near invisible now (just mentioning to be as honest as possible).
Iv used them with all sorts of amps and to me they have always sounded great, (A Hi Fi world review stated that they were "Crisp, clean, expansive and atmospheric sound that's detailed...powerful, articulate bass - superb high frequencies...the Monitor Audio RS8's have outstanding instrumental separation, excellent phrasing and also a powerful dynamic ability' which sounds far better than I could ever come up with!)
Having had these quite a while I fancy a change of speaker and unfortiunately dont really have the room to keep 2 pairs of full size speakers .
Located in Liverpool if anyone fancies a demo (of course a cuppa and a few biscuits will be on offer:D). I would prefer collection but I am happy if you want to organise your own courier etc ( I could possibly be strong armed into delivering them locally as well for a bit of petrol money).
Looking for £425.00 ovno or possible trade for a decent DAC or maybe even a rega type tonearm.
