I cannot begin to fathom the explanation on why someone would need this type of miniaturization versus a standard size SL1200-MK2. Perhaps someone has something against 12 inch records?

Or an extensive 7 inch record collection?

Biz Markie can surely afford the big-boy 1200s.

Personally I think it's a wind-up and the pics are photoshopped....

No hoax, these have been posted up before along with an article concerning their creation. IIRC they were created by Technics just for fun and are the only pair in existence ;)

I think synsei (http://theartofsound.net/forum/member.php?2990-synsei)'s avatar is photoshopped. Seriously, if that bee is real, then either that is a very small garbage pail, or that bee is on steroids. That is one scary avatar!!!
