First up is a WAD KEL84 integrated amp. Bought this from a chap over on the Wigwam a few months ago to try out valve amplification. It sounds great however it also has a stepped volume pot and even only the lowest setting it was a little loud for evening listening. It did come with a Alps Blue pot however this isn't fitted and i don't have the skills to fit this myself. It will be included with the sale.

The ECF80 valves are Mullard although unsure of the EL84's, the previous owner believes they might be JJ's

One thing i did notice were that my banana plugs were a little loose in the connectors. Not had this issue with any other amps so unsure if its the plugs i'm using or the connectors on the amp. Using bare wire was fine though, as were the banana plugs as long as you're careful.

Looking for £250 + postage. Have a suitable box/packaging for this.

Next up is a WAD 5881 power amp. This was a factory built design as opposed to the kits which were available so is nice and neat inside. Sadly i don't know too much about this particular amp other than that.

It sounds excellent though and has great bass and power for what is only a 20w amp.

Not the greatest of photos but this is all i have at the moment. If anyone wants something particular let me know

Don't have any means of posting this but am looking for £350.

Do you mind me asking what speakers you used with the K E L 84? I have been looking for a valve amp to drive my Tannoy Devons but not sure how the K E L 84 would sound. Mike.

I was using a set of Wilmslow Audio Allegro's which are 89db. With the current stepped volume control it was certainly a little too loud on the lowest setting for evening listening so dread to think how it'd be on a higher level.

Unfortunately the KEL84 is now sold pending collection and i've had a fairly firm bite on the 5881 but i'll keep the thread updated.
