dears, i got pointed here while i was looking for direct drive tt information. Apparently seveal Technics aficionados found their place here. I spent thelast 5 years changing several turntable and none of them gave me excitement enough to say my friends "vinyl is music"
Last one was the most disappointing. All of them were belt driven and last one with its low torque motor was wrong in timing.
Fed up.
Want to experience a technics and further mods when money will allow. Ordere one very lightly modified that will receive in next two weeks. The journey starts!
Expect i will respect rules and friendship but will also enquire experts what is the best to do for next steps improvement and hopefully without the discouragement i received from belts.
