Its time to say goodbye to my Celestion's I hardly use them anymore and I could with some cash for upgrades for my other Retrogear;) I have done quite extensive modifications to them, here is a list
1. Complete rewire - silver wire + teflon coating
2. Installed new silver plated binding posts
3. Rotated all the drivers in case of any sag
4. Increased dampening with all internal sides of speaker with 3mm sorbothane
5. Mounted cross over on sorbothane bed
6. Replaced all old foam and included more where i could cram it in.
7. Produced new 1mm EVA speaker mounts to have dampen speaker drivers further.
I will take some photo's later tonight, I'm looking for £95 OVNO. Prospective buyers are more than welcome to come to my house for a demo.
Regards
Andy

 Yeah if you want. The missus is into herbal teas, so we have all sorts of weird and wonderful brews. :D

Might just come for the tea and biccies then and feign interest in the speakers.
How are JR 149s working out for you?

OK, no worries. The JR149's are working out really well. I have recapped them with the 2% tolerance capping kit from Falcon. Sounds very good. They now sit connected to my Sansui AU719 integrated amp. I suppose I could rewire them but thats for another day. ;)

I do have some boxes and I'd do courier with DHL (I think these are the guys which have a good reputation). I'm only getting rid of the speakers because I also have a pair of JR149's which sound slightly better, I need some space as well! I have 5 pairs of speakers in my listening room. The speakers also come with the cloth fronts which are in very good condition.
