Having read all the postings regarding the use of battery power for the Bushmaster DAC I am keen to apply the same process to my Gator modified Caiman.

Can anyone confirm that the recommended Incredible 20,000mAh Battery Charger -Universal Portable Battery will be suitable for my DAC ?

I also plan to use it to power my Squeezebox Touch and have seen a cable on amazon for this purpose > http://www.amazon.co.uk/LINDY-2-5mm-Inner-5-5mm-Adapter/dp/B00DELCYP6/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=2H6Z2XR5NWRYT&coliid=I1D5LTDFLBCJVU

Assuming all the answers to the above are positive will I need to modify any other connections....?

Thanks in advance

The only battery type that I can get to work with the TC-720SE Caiman is a lead acid battery. That's probably because of the higher voltage that the Caiman requires.

Thanks Stan,

Decided to just try the battery option with the SBT to start with using one of these http://uk.cellphoneshop.net/station.html .

If it proves suscessful as indicated on this forum it may also motivate me to upgrade my DAC.

Stan I have just realised I have a motorcycle battery doing nothing but being trickle charged in my garage and I am tempted to use it until the sun shines for more than one day..., my question is what is the size / spec of the mains connector will I need to acquire ?
