I have just visited this restaurant in Cleethorpes with my partner Sue to celebrate her birthday today. I had a Scary Spice Chicken which must have been the Indian equivalent of Hydrazine Hydrate and now I await the time it blows my arse off tomorrow morning. This thing was way hotter than a Phall and I only managed half of it; I just had to admit defeat. I shall not be repeating this ever again unless I get heartburn which is a real possibility

Reminds me of the Golden Curry in Surbiton many years ago when they used to have "Curry Fights".

They would have a row of dishes lined up on a table, each dish hotter than the previous one, which also went way beyond Phall. For a fiver entrance fee and a kitty of £50 for whoever made it out the other end :eyebrows:

I bet whoever won that kitty money would mostly spend it on bog roll and new underpants

There used to be an Indian Takeaway in Portsmouth that had a dish called The Bombay Bum Burner on the menu

There was a restaurant in Southall called the Brilliant (it may still be there), that used to serve Chilli Chicken. A group of us used to go there occasionally and we always had that dish as a starter. It's the hottest dish I've ever eaten and I like hot curries!

Student days in Manchester back in the early 1980s, we used to frequent the Plaza Cafe on Upper Brook Street where the menu included 'Suicide', 'Killer' and (shudder) 'Charlies Special' the latter of which almost nobody could eat more than a couple of forkfulls. I seem to remember that there was one even hotter than Charlie's Special ( 'Cremation'?) which I don't recall anyone even attempting.
