View Full Version : FS: Isoblue Rack
For those of you struggling to find the ideal Christmas present for yourselves, I may have a solution:): i have an Isoblue rack, in natural ash in unmarked condition.
It's a base with four extra shelves. The current price is £175 per shelf, and I'm looking for around half that, so £435 for the set of five shelves. Ideally the buyer would collect (from London NW3), though I do have some boxes so courier (UK only) may be possible at the buyer's risk, arrangement and expense.
I'm looking to sell the rack as a set.
Equally, I might be tempted to P/EX for a quality pair of bookshelf speakers (no rear-firing port) or an interesting collection of vinyl from the 70s/80s or a quality mains conditioner.
Please pm if you are interested.
Peter
A little bump
I know you all like pictures but I don't have any.
These have not been out of the box since I bought them and I have now decided on a different method of supporting my kit. But if you look at the second picture down here: http://forums.naimaudio.com/topic/system-pics-2013 you will see a picture showing the stand (posted by its original owner).

Hi Peter
Would you be interested in a Music Works rack in P/X. Basically Quadraspire Q4L uprights with Music Works own shelves. I am also in NW3 !

Paul,
Thanks. Lovely idea but I'm afraid I'm out of floor space. Thanks for the offer.

Not a problem.
Last bump. I had been hoping to find a loving AoS home for the rack :) but if there is no other interest here, I suppose I'll have to post it on that auction site after Christmas :(.
I'm open to sensible offers/swaps. Please just pm me.
I am also about to post up a Hifi Racks of Oakham rack in good nick which was designed (I believe) for Arcam products but which has housed my Naim units happily - similar to this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151194524846?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649. Will post a picture later.
Someone out there must have had some goodies from Santa which need housing :)!

Hi Peter
I assume the spacing on the HiFi racks item is similar to the one on ebay if not could you let me know the biggest shelf height. Most stuff I have is standard height except my Allnic phono stage.
Cheers

Paul,
I'll measure precisely tomorrow when I go to the lock up but I believe the large (top) compartment was designed to house the Arcam AV amp size and the remainder are standard component size.

Sounds promising then. Look forward to the measurements.

Paul (and anyone else interested),
I have photos and i'll work out how to post them…and will post to its own dedicated thread.
Dimensions of the HiFi racks as follows:
82 cm to highest point w/o spikes
73.5 to top shelf (for turntable)
Top shelf 51.5 w x 45.75 cm d
1 x Big compartment - 16.5 cm h x 44.5 cm w x 46 cm d
3 x other compartments - 10 cm h x 44.5 cm wide x 46 cm deep
I have noticed a slight dent on the top right front of the unit but it looks sand-out able.
I can send pics if you pm me.
Best

Thanks Peter
Although the big compartment is OK, 10c, high on the other is too tight for me pre and power amp I am afraid. Sure it will suit others though.
