I am delighted to announce that Radlett Audio now has the Devialet range on permanent demonstration.

I have the D110, D170 and D240 here.

These fabulous amplifiers combine a small Class-A amp to control Class-D current dumpers with power aplenty to drive your speakers with finesse and precision. I am not a fan of normal Class-d but the Devialets are in a class of their own, sounding truly wondeful through Harbeth, Martin Logan and Spendor here in my demo room.

The internal DAC and customisation facilities make them very versatile and a delight to use.

So THAT's why they cost what they do? Glad they sound very good too though ;)

This stuff makes Naim look even more tractor-like than it was before

For many people, a Devialet is all they need. Just that laptop sized, black chrome slab and a source or two. No piles of ugly, buzzing boxes and cables - as you say.

The D110 is the baby at £4490 and for that you get an excellent and very versatile DAC, highly configurable pre and current dumping 110 wpc amps. It connects wirelessly by their 'Air' system, so you can put the Devialet anywhere convenient and sit in your favourite chair with your laptop or phone and away you go.....great music.

To answer a couple of queries - yes, the Devialet Air is included as standard for the time being.

Thanks Ron.

Being an 'analogue' man, I've been on a very steep learning gear with Devialet. Downloading and streaming were things I never thought I would do but it's all quite straightforward with this gear. To be honest, my 13 yeard old Grandaughter had her i-pad mini playing music through a Devialet within minutes. The 5 year olds would probably take a few minutes longer !!!
