View Full Version : HNE Cableway Handmade Polished Granite Stands

These are beautiful handmade stands, which seldom appear for sale. Polished solid granite construction with leather inserts on the front/back and a cable tidy. Not only do they look superb, they're possibly the most inert supports you can get for a bookshelf speaker.

These were made in small batches and no two pairs are the same as far as I am aware... I am asking £225 - a significant saving on the price when new (around £600 a pair).

Dimensions (cm):

Bottom plate: 33 x 26 across

Top plate: 20 x 17 across

Height: 60 + adjustable/removable floor spikes

I have a pair of the HNE isolation plinths that I used with some TDL Studio 1 Ms, an exceptioal product. I heard a pair like yours used with a pail of LS3/5As and the solidity of the image was awesome.

I have a pair of the granite and beech racks. I met Peter (I think it was) several times, which was easy to do - HNE were based just outside Retford in Notts, close to where I lived at the time. His little granite speakers were very interesting.

Me too, I was lucky to get this pair and paid a lot more! Not seen a set for sale since either outside of London. I am not bothered if they stick around, they're very smart and keep the vibrations outta my wobbly floor board :)
