Has anyone rebuilt their circuit board replacing their capacitors and/or resistors with new caps, same value? If so, I would not expect a sonic improvement, but how about of a stability improvement?
Note, I am not suggesting that that my turntable is failing, but after 25 + years, I figure it will need to be done at some time. With my experience replacing capacitors in critical areas in my power amp, I noticed an audible improvement.
