Listening to Peter Hammill's Black Box - 1980

I wonder if this is the start of Drum and Bass.
Apart from the Chipmunks I can't remember any other speeded up work

Track 3. Jargon King, 7. The Wipe

So added to my list of time travelling... go back to 1980 and persuade Peter not to do that and maybe we are spared D&B

Thought I would balance it out, yes, I agree. One of the greatest things in electronic music at least.

Absolutely agree, they were way ahead of their time and had a lot of influence in drum and bass and trip hop.
