Hi Guys,
This probably isn't the place but I'm in a bit of a hurry and need to get rid of this car. I leave the country on Christmas Day and, as a result, am offering this here for a good price for anybody looking for a good reliable car.
Car is a 2001 VW Passat TDI Sport (130) in pearl blue and I am the 2nd owner. It has just about all the VW options. Half leather and alcantara, climate control, cruise control, 8 speaker stereo with CD changer, heated front seats, steering wheel controls, 18" allow wheels, power windows, central locking. Mileage is 127300 and it has 12 months MOT. Since July this year it has been serviced, had the timing belt and water pump changed, a new airconditioning condenser fitted, new back tyres fitted and new brake discs and pads all round. Basically, nothing to spend in the forseeable future. It has a full service history, about 90% VW and I have all receipts for all repairs done while in my posession.
Now the downside. It has a couple of spots of corrosion, one at the rear bottom of the driver's front wing and the other on the passenger front door pillar. The road tax runs out this month, so the buyer would have to pay this. There is an intermittent fault with one of the ABS sensors, which causes the warning lights to come on. This seems to happen when the car isn't being used very often or when the weather changes. The auto-electrician tested and checked them and could find nothing wrong. Usually switching the car off and on again cures the problem.
I am also advertising this on ebay. Now the price. For a quick sale I am looking for £600. I checked prices online and for this price you can only really get junk. This IS a bargain.
