Hi guys I don't know if I can ask this question here but I want to sell these records as a bundle. I don't have the time or the energy to split them up'' and to be honest would rather not have to sell them but needs must. I wondered if you guys could give me a few prices as a whole. There all ex if not mint condition both lps and the covers, they all come in plastic covers too. There are 22 LPs some are double albums, thing fish is triple.

Cheers

Jason

Weazels I paid £10 (average condition)
Studio Tan £6 (average condition (the ex owners name was in biro on the inside cover..lol)

My advice with the Zappa is to check recent Ebay sale prices. Originals of these and Quadrophenia in nice condition fetch quite a bit. Frankly it would pay to take the time to list them if you actually need to make a reasonable amount of money. Don't take the first offer you get! Perhaps a few details v sleeve and extras condition would help.

Would be interested in

Buddy Rich - Big Band
Milt Jackson & john coltrane
Miles Davis
Diana Krall
Interested in Zappa too...

It's very difficult to value them properly Jason without more information as the values vary greatly dependent upon if they are re-issues or not, if they are early pressings and so on. For instance, on discogs.com, The Who Quadrophenia varies from below £25 to over £50 for near-mint copies for the first issue dependant upon matrix numbers, greyer-looking sleeve, marks in the dead-wax etc.

Also I doubt you will find anyone who wants to take all of those as a job lot as they are all decent LPs that will be worth more than a few quid each - which would be more than people would want to pay to pick up an unwanted duplicate, or some LPs by people they didn't much care for.

If you were to split them, I'd like first refusal on the Ozric Tenticles Pungent Effulgent please.

Thanks for your input guys and your offers. I would really like to sell as a whole just down to the fact of packing them one ore two at a time, plus I would rather a lump sum of cash to make it worth my while.

The Quadrophenia is in mint condition with original inner's and booklet still attached to the sleeve inside slightest edge wear to the cover but nothing bad, the art work on the cover is stunning not like on the cd version with no detail. All these albums play with hardly a crackle or a pop and if there is it would only be the odd one. I never got to play the weasels ripped my flesh double album but it looks ok. I could do some more detailed pics tomorrow and add some more info.

Jason, I think like most people on this forum who have been collecting records for a while a lot are desirable but not the whole lot.

I personally fancy about 6 but don't want to duplicate.

I wish you well with your sale.:)

Look up again! Post No. 14.

I had seen it Chris but thanks for reminding me again.

I was just offering Jason a reason why he hasn't sold them yet and perhaps won't.

I still wish him well with his sale...:)
