Took a punt on a pair of Keswick Audio Blueprint point one speakers over the weekend and pick them up tomorrow. I haven't been able to find out much about them but hoping they will be a worthwhile step up from the Castle Kendal floorstander's I've been using for the past couple of years.

Has anyone had any experience with them/ tell me a little more about the brand? Should look pretty with my NAS deck though.

I can remember the Keswick Audio brand getting pretty good reviews in Audiophile back in the day :)

Keswick Audio were a relatively short-lived British company and the man behind the company was Dean Hartley, who is now the Technical Director of Monitor Audio. I've not heard a pair of their loudspeakers but they're rather good, by all accounts, and very nicely made.

They're very nice speakers, Claire, so well done! Do you have any pictures of them (perhaps a link to the ebay ad, if you bought them from there), or any provided by the seller? :)

Marco.

Collected them last night, they're slightly larger than I'd anticipated and we struggled to fit them in the car. Extremely pleased with my purchase, they certainly make quite a statement visually and the sound is beautiful, it's very open and detailed with a healthy dollop of bass on the side! I'm now enjoying a day off to sit and listen to them, so very happy indeed. I took some arty shots but unfortunately I can no longer access my flickr account so, attached are photo's from the ebay listing:

I had to own up to him-outdoors that I'd made a rash purchase 2 weeks before Christmas. Glad I did, I would never have been able to sneak them in and pretended they were the same old Castle's I've been playing music through for the past couple of years! I'll wait a while before I mention that my amp. is now the weakest-link :eyebrows:
