HAH! I have a small river running down the back of my house Paul . Last summer there was a blockage upstream and it burst its banks . Now , you have to climb 3 steps to enter my house and the water was inches from coming in. Not good. Hopefully this doesn't happen to me or anyone else again , particularly at this time of year . BTW my little Rega EL8s which you repaired are now sounding absolutely fantastic and will be with me for a very long time . Thanks again for all your time and effort Paul . Hope you and your family , and all the troops on AOS, have a Merry and peaceful Christmas. Now back to the Christmas songs :christmas:

A happy and safe Christmas to all and may your God go with you. To those that have suffered recently with loss my thoughts are with you, having some years ago lost family members right before Christmas I know how hard it can be.
A special thanks to all who run

wouldn't believe it, just answered the phone and it's my partners brother to say her other brother has bowel cancer and has been extremely ill the last month. Surgery is scheduled for mid January and he's been in and out of hospital, primarily with dehydration and malnutrition since he has trouble keeping anything down. Great Christmas day news.

as saying above, many thanks to those who run this forum. Given it's size and the hard work it obviously is to get it back up again when it crashes, your efforts are much appreciated. You deserve an extra glass of port and slice of turkey.
