I owned these from new for many years and sold them to a mate in about 2005... I've just taken them back in P/X for my Castle Inversions.

I was going to use them while refurbishing the Martin Logans but they're just in the way all the time, there's already been one shin/spike interface issue, so they'll have to go.

Not too sure if anyone here would be interested(?) nor do I really know how much to ask for them? Advice appreciated on that score...

A bit about them;

Early models in black with boxes, pretty good overall condition with a few marks here and there. He's rewired them internally and replaced the original capacitors (there's only a single cap per speaker as a 'crossover' component) with high quality Solen jobbies and replaced the speaker sockets with some gold plated ones. He also tried converting them to bi-wire like the later models but didn't like it so reverted back to single wire. The holes for the extra terminals have been filled and plugged.

The stands are from Origin Live and were made specifically for the ES14. They used to do a small range of stands for these speakers and this pair are the higher spec ones, I don't remember the precise hierarchy, sorry.
They are much, much better than Epos's own stands, and far more stable too.
Again, these are in black and in good shape, a few paint chips here and there.

If anyone is interested in these just let me know and I'll take some detailed photo's.

Cheers...

Just found an old picture lurking on the PC.

At least you can see what the stands look like. Rather different to the Epos stand! :)
