Hi folks
Due to the arrival of a new deck at Chez Wilbur, one of my Revox B710's is up for sale,as I have been informed I dont need two.....

History and Condition
It was bought by me about 15 years ago,to go with the rest of my Revox kit. It performed superbly, until a few years ago when it developed a taste for tapes. The fault was traced to worn bearings on the spooling motors, and a new full transport was sourced and fitted. It now performs as it should, fast forward and rewind all the way to the leader tape without stopping half way, auto shut off as soon as the clear leader is sensed,so doesnt hit the end of the tape with a thunk,on inserting a tape and pressing play,it plays til the leader has passed, stops, and resets the counter, all as it should. It also doesnt chew tapes anymore:) The sound is fantastic,as to be expected, particularly with Maxell type 4 for some reason. It also comes with the clear plastic tape cover that is often missing,it does have a small section of this missing, but is not really seen once in place. Cosmetically,I would say 8/10,there are no scratches on the metalwork, although there is very slight tarnishing on the record level knob, this may just need a clean,or replacement knobs on the bay often show up NOS to make it as good as new. There is one small mark on the facia at right hand side, where it looks like a scratch has been touched it with a slightly darker shade,It,again,is not noticable under normal use,but I mention it just in case. The nextel covering sides and top is typical of the age,but not in any way the worst ive seen. The unit will come with an original user manual, assuming I can find it!
Any questions etc are welcomed.

Price- £375 or best offer,collected.
May be willing to post at cost,or,even deliver in person for diesel costs(non refundable)

Any other questions,im sure some agreement can be worked out.
