I,ve been reading the forum for a while, i am 50+ drive a truck for a living, and ride a motorbike for pleasure. music ranges from pink floyd, through rock, to heavy metal, i even like a little electronic chill out music when in the right mood. at some stage i would like to sort out my systems, at the moment the main system is hashed together and placed where it would fit in the living room, but i have to admit it does not sound great, or even good. I,m sure i will ask advise of the forum members and join in with the banter.

Hi Gordon, you show good taste with Pink Floyd! AOS is certainly the place to get some ideas/advice on your system

Cheers guys thanks for the welcome, i feel at home already, there is a drink at the virtual bar for all of you, Martin, some of the trucks have not got a decent stereo, but the new scania's stereo is pretty good and made by clarion, and with a sub. still rocking the floyd..

Excellent, I should think that's important if you're spending hours in there. Do you carry CDs or a USB drive or something else?

Martin, radio 2 during the week, mainly for the traffic, weekends i normally bluetooth my phone to the truck so i can play my own music.

I used to listen to R2 but their music selection was distinctly variable. I wish I could stream Radio Paradise into the car!
