Hello
I fancy a bit of tube rolling. My lovely (Lurcher-made) amp takes one of each of the above (as well as 2x 300b - do I want to change these? Maybe if something interesting comes along).
Would anyone like to suggest some modestly priced valves to me?
In terms of character, I favour holographic and a wide soundstage. My speakers are not bass-shy so the valves don't need to emphasise bass!
So, what's out there?
