Just looking at a picture in the latest HFW of some new power cables by Chord Company. They look very much like the ones you get supplied with new kit? I have no doubt they are pre packed in shrink wrapped freshly exaguinated python juice when you by them? I can smell it from here. I think i may just give these a miss.

Have you read the blurb about them ?
It appears to describe a standard mains lead !!!

I was a huge fan of Chord Co. But am having serious doubts now. I use quite a few of the more expensive PowerChords which do make a difference and I also have one of the older (blue) budget chords connected to my Sky Box. Haven't got a clue if it achieves anything but the Rep. gave it to me try about three years ago and has never asked for it back, maybe because I'm no longer in the trade. HeeHee

What is anyone expecting it to do?
It carries 240v AC from the wall to the equipment without spilling any on the carpet. That's all it can do!

I do so hate spilt puddles of electricity. They're right sod to mop up and usually leave a stain.

Sounds like the puddles you usually leave on your keyboard after visiting those dodgy websites of yours, stain-boy! :D :eyebrows:

So, maybe I do like visiting "specialist" sites that have pictures of turntables with their platters off. What of it? :o
As long as you wipe it clean with a tissue afterwards, I guess it's ok!
