I have been following this one very closely when Geoff at Tellurium Q told me they were working on a new integrated amplifier with a built in phono stage.

I was told I could not divulge anything, I saw a sneak peak of the case work some time ago and after pestering Geoff many times was told be patient.

Full details will appear shortly but I am quite excited by the prospect of a new TQ amp especially when it called the "Claymore" I will post more details when mine arrives.

I think it is around the £5k mark but will let you all know soon.

There is no link as it's not officially out yet. Word is it's quite a bit less than 5k so looks on paper to be a bit of a bargain B-)

The original Claymore was less than a tenth of this price. Is this the same amp tarted up or a completely new design with the same name ?????

Are you running an errand for someone Paul?
You know the rules about sales threads - perhaps you should start another thread elsewhere.

You included an image in your opening post, supplied by this link: http://www.telluriumq.com/wpimages/wp14b7e28d_06.png and the image isn't showing up (all there is, is a white box with a red cross on it)... :)

Indeed. I'll let it go this time, as he was essentially asking a question, albeit with suspicious intent... Paul, behave yourself, mate. Sovereign has already been banned for a week for crapping on Bev's sales thread, so I don't want you to be next!

Remember that threads in the trade room and in Private Exhibitions are for the sole benefit of interested parties buying, or making serious enquiries about goods advertised for sale. Any other input by members on said threads is deemed as a thread crap, where the punishment is a week's ban. We are operating a zero tolerance policy on this now, so be warned.

If you want to ask those types of questions, start a separate thread about it in the main area of the forum. No-one is being gagged, but we're very focussed now on keeping sales threads, both in the trade room and in Private Exhibitions, rigidly on-topic.

Marco.

This amp is a completely new design, with remote and a built in DAC. It has MC and MM still and is not Black.

Hi Colin

No I just liked Clive's drive, and enthusiasm and inventiveness which seems be lacking in some companies today, it is copy this, copy that, or never change it worked 40yrs ago so why changed it now.
And I can,t be accused of shilling so I use it.
Why does it upset you?

Well I can still remember the Claymore in a friends house (maybe not 40 years ago but deffo more than 15 years ago sounding very good), now the new Claymore has settle in at MCRU towers I will be posting my thoughts on my blog shortly.

Suffice to say it's staying put. :)

Quick up-date on the Claymore which has been playing continually for a few weeks at MCRU Towers,
its a stonkingly good amplifier, phono stage is also good, PC wise the USB output will appeal to computer
audiophiles so I think TQ have covered all the options with this amp, my blog (http://www.mains-cables-r-us.co.uk/blog/2013/12/08/the-return-of-the-claymore-amplifier/) explains more. The sound
through my new electricbeach frugel 3 speakers (http://www.mains-cables-r-us.co.uk/canor-equipment/801-electric-beach-frugel-3-horn-loudspeakers.html) is the best sound I have ever had in my demo room
according to 2 customers who visited recently.
