This is a well designed and constructed item which is made from very rugged plastic, there is surge protection and noise cancelling circuitry on board which does exactly what it says on the tin. Originally designed for industrial applications I have used this in the past to power my computer equipment, however these days I use a Tacima item which is somewhat more compact but performs the same task. These originally cost around £100 new so I reckon 20 quid plus £4 p&p is a fair price. It is fitted with good quality mains cable (shielded IIRC) and although the 1.5m mains lead is terminated with a moulded plug it is of good quality plus the prongs appear to be silver plated.
