Hello and welcome to my first post - my 1992 VRDS-10 CD player has now been with Teac UK for 12 months seeking repair to a faulty Power supply/ DAC Board caused by a jammed transport mechanism (they have parts for the transport). It seems that the Digital Output signal comes from the DAC, so unless Teac can source these PCB components then another PCB is required - but from where? I use it when working with a matching D-T1 DAC. Grateful for any advice on how to source the PCB components as Teac appear unable to do so to date.

Scrap it or use it for spares and buy a working T1,7 or 10 for around £250. I'm sure the cost of the repairs will amount to more.
