I am beginning to have a clear out and I am starting with the mighty Yaqin MC-100B integrated amplifier
It is a very close thing between this amp and my Audio Note Oto SE and considering the Audio Note is about £2.5K that's amazing, there are some things this amp does better than the Oto
The amp uses a set of 4 x KT88's output tubes, 2 x 12AX7's and 4 x 6SN7's
It can be used in Ultra-Linear Mode which gives 2x65W or in Triode Mode at 2x32W, both sound superb to me
It can be used as a power amp by plugging in an external Pre-Amp using the front input sockets
Make no mistake I am quite aware that this is a Chinese amp but it has the most wonderful sound, I have been very impressed with it
The ONLY problem I have with it is it is so immensely heavy; my poor back
I have the original box and the tool to remove the tube cage and the tool to tweak the biasing (which took me about 2 mins) and the instructions
I would like £425 ovno and that's a bargain! Pick-up from Portsmouth preferred but if I have to I will post but I'm guessing it wont be too cheap due to it's weight
The amp is in mint condition, with just the tiniest mark on one of the transformer covers which is too small to photograph
Please PM if interested, thanks
NB. In case anyone was thinking about getting one imported from China/Hong Kong, it would cost well over £625 to get one into this country; I've done the sums including: Import Tax, Vat and Shipping
