Howdy Alan,Basically it goes Victor is a Japanese company. Due to licencing writes the export side of the company 'James Victor Company' ....JVC. Quite often the top model of any given range of component were never released as JVC-That is were kept Inn-house in Japan.There are many sleeping GIANTS among this Victor gear.In the 1970/80 Golden era of analogue componentry Victor was vastly developmental and innovative, REGARDS PETER.
