Hi there!

I am listening music from PC (sb audigy gold soundcard + kx drivers) -> spdif out to muse 4xTDA1543 modded DAC -> smsl sa-s3 T-amp -> tannoy mercury v1 speakers. And now I'm thinking about some preamp (precisely this one: http://tinyurl.com/o9qudxu). I guess it's very this one http://tinyurl.com/pwhc3lm alike.

Does it make any positive change in my "system"?How do You think?

thanks

Hi Peter. I have no experience of the pre-amp module you mention, however I drove my T amp with a Classé Audio DR5 pre for quite a while and I found the ensemble to be both transparent and incredibly musical. I believe several members have also used various Beresford DAC's via their variable output sockets to drive Amptastic Mini-T's with some success ;)

Like Dave I do not know your gear but in my case with the Bantam Gold I use a Slagle Volume Control to good effect

I use a tisbury audio passive pre with temple mono blocks to good effect.
