Hi due to changes in my life at the moment it looks like I'm going to have to sell my system gutted:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Sugden a21 amp no more than 100hrs use comes with remote and good quality mains cable no Phono stage version cost £1700

Arcam ir dac no more than 5 hours use comes with remote boxes and bits cost £400

Arcam dr dock 10 hours use tops comes with remote boxes and bits cost £200

Apple Ipod 32gb comes with 3 covers cost around £250

Avid support cost £200

Neat speakers excellent stunning speakers gutted there going cost I think they were £800 when new but not sure

Parington stands filled cost £200

Granite plinths cost £100

Russ Andrews cones and shoes cost £100

Speaker cables Atlas cost £150

Interconnects Atlas and audio quest £££

A very nice sounding set up again I'm gutted but needs must:(

I would say the total cost of this system would be around £4200

Thanks Dave I know I'm gutted as it really does sound stunning. Due to a break up with the now ex she needs some cash to get sorted out so I have to do the wright thing and help here out bloody women:) But I know I bounce back another day with a new system and hopefully a new women lol:)

I realize it's early days yet Jason but think of it as a new beginning if you can. I've been there too dude so I know where you're at just now and for what it's worth, it's good that you are doing the right thing even though it must be painful. All the best dude and both myself and Jo will be thinking of you ;)

Thanks for the support Dave and same to jo very kind of you, it's upsetting on both counts but my ex as done a lot for me over our 8 yrs together she as left me the whole flat and refused to take anything. So it's really is the least I can do for her:) and were still friends:)

That's brilliant Jason. My ex and I are still best of mates too and what's more, her and Jo have become good buddies as well. It's difficult to cut through the various strong emotions at such times but my ex and I realized very early on that nothing was going to be gained by tearing chunks out of one another, plus there were kids involved and it is they who suffer most during relationship bust ups. So, we sat down and talked about the issues we each had and the impact they were having and jointly came to the conclusion that our respective differences were the cause of all the anguish. Our relationship ended there that evening but neither of us were willing to put aside a very strong friendship. It is something we are both very proud of and as a result our kids came through it in much better shape than would otherwise have been the case ;)

I agree Dave as much as I miss our life together and I know she feels the same I would hate to be at stage were we could no longer talk or know where each other were. I think that would of finished me off. ;)

Thanks Grant yes I was thinking the same thing but I just don't want to end up with bit and pieces left. I might split it up if needs be but it would be nice to get a lump sum:)

Hi guys trying to find out which Ipod I have the one above in the pics. Its a 32gb ipod bought a year ago from argos around £250 just wondered how I tell which it is 4th or 5th gen?

as far as I know the 5th gen ipod touch has a 4" screen, and the other one is smaller measured diagonally (I presume)
