My lad had the honour of laying the wreath at the local Remembrance Day Service.
Original photo taken in full colour by my wife on Pentax K100D.
My contribution was a little work with Lightroom and Photoshop.
Personally, I think the shadows and single red poppy hit the spot.

Well done Steve - good photograph.

I spent the weekend (and today) in London, and was saddend to see the majority of the younger generation (< 30) not wearing poppies. They may think it is only for the fallen in WW I and II - but it is for all those servicemen who have died defending our way of life, freedoms and liberties that we all now enjoy.
