My copy is ok but is VERY bass heavy as in it's too bassy if that makes sense....also have you seen all the negative remarks on Amazon about the quality of the pressing some folks had nothing but greif. Maybe you would be better seeking out a good original LP if you dont already have one as this sounds ok to my ears and it would be a lot cheaper than the new version as there a re literally millions out there.

The original recording is excellent and actually improves with a good system. The remaster is a digital remaster and I have heard mixed views. In theory should sound better spread over 2 Lps but you need to be familiar with the original to judge. One of the main complainants on Amazon is a Steve Hoffman member and I recognise his obsession with hard inners has he insists on blaming these for every pressing flaw. He also claimed a couple years ago that GZ (were this is likely pressed) used a non standard formula that wouldn't flatten in his expensive Furutech vinyl flattener. Buy a cheap original then try the new one. If it's crap sounding or quality return to Amazon as faulty and it won't cost you anything.

I have one original copy that has a few scratches on it

As you suggest I will look for a better original

Cheers :)
