A pair of Zebrano Cessaro Chopinare being delivered ( alongside their big brother the Cessaro Liszt) on the weekend of the 23/24 November.

The Chopin use a 2" Berylium diaphragm compression driver and an 8" paper cone with Alnico magnets.

Mark Hi, yes that's right,Thomas had the first pair of Betas I beleive, he still has Betas but with the new carbon fibre horns.

Not as it is now. He had Ralph build him some much larger custom bass horns.He was showing pics from his phone over at RMAF.

The new upper bass horns are slight
y larger than the old wooden ones, but I am pretty sure Thomas still has Betas, what colour were the horns?

The new bass bins Thomas has are white. But they are properly 'built in' not something that could be moved. A custom installation. He did also say he'd increased the size/volume of the listening room (raised the ceiling?) which had been of great benefit. I think the rest of the Betas were still in place.

Mark. Will do. I've just put my FR on it which seems another happy coupling but need to get the Io on that. Using Mission 773 at the moment. Full review of deck & arm in the next HiFi News. Measures very well apparently!

Guy Hi, yes Ispoke t oRalph yesterday, as you say Thomas raised the height of his listening room and had the horns built in,
I will post a photograph of the installation.

Actually, I didn't create that 'Barbie' picture - I stumbled across it on Google Images when I was trying to find a picture of the Cessaro crossovers.
