I'm looking for a budget CD player to mate with a recently acquired Onix SP-3 amp that I traded for. I don't have the money yet for a player, but hope to have it soon, if my other gear sells.
The TEAC CD-H750 looks like it would meet my needs. I'm wondering if it is a good sounding budget player. Does anyone have any experience with it?

Hi Mike, I assume you have a iPhone or iPod that you wish to pair with it? Spec wise it passes my own impression of a top notch design. Not much of a budget unit based on its use of the high end PCM1791A DAC chip. I wish I knew what the opamps are. I would be tempted to do some opamp rolling in a unit with such a good spec.
You may wish to bookmark the page at http://audio.teac.com/product/cd-h750/downloads/ if you go for the TEAC.
Dunno about the PD-H750, but l have the PD-H600 and for the money it looks like a mini Esoteric,- and sounds like one too, great sound for not much money, built like a tank too.

Tarzan, the PD-H600 are discontinued and nowhere to be found.
StanleyB, thanks for the good comments. When I take possession on one of these guys, I will contact you on the OP amps used for your recommendations.
