Yahoo mail - bloody awful

Hi all.

Does anyone here use Yahoo mail?

I've been using it for donkeys years but last month they decided to update the UI to which practically everyone has complained about.

The new system is simply not workable, it's confusing, slow, and old hat... it's like going back 8 years. You can no longer keep emails open in tabs and the message system has gone it to a stack which in itself (if done right) can work well but this is just becoming a total joke.

After using all of my votes on the feedback it quite clear that Yahoo are simply not listening to any of the feedback. There are so many comments now it's unbelievable... too many to count.

One comment from Yahoo said that the new system is to 'personalise' it to the user... Eh???

Has anyone experienced this? Or.. has anyone been able to get on with it because if you have then it's hats off to you ... lol

It's just sooooo badly done.

Hi

It is slow & sometimes unusable its complex and takes time to work things out. I would love the old format back just easier and you can open tabs mails which you now can't do.

+1, it's just shite, thats all i can say, wish they'd just leave it alone, not everybody is a whizz kid and can adapt quickly. :scratch:

I hate it, but then I've hated the last two incarnations too. I used to use the "Mail Classic" option but that seems to have gone.

Yahoo needs to do something about the sending and receiving limits too. Send anything with large pics in and it's asking for trouble. I have to use another email address just to get round this nonsense.

Yahoo sucks. End of.
