JPW AP3 Speakers - light oak colour with Atacama SL 400 stands

Up for sale are my JPW AP3 Speaker , presented in near immaculate condition with filled Atacama SL400 stands

The AP3s utilise similar drivers and tweeters as can be found in Snell/Audio Note speakers. Hence these speakers glow with some valve amplification, with some re-working of the crossover they can be made even better . I've had many speakers come and go trying to replace these, however I now have had the chance to own some JPW Ruby 3 speakers. These along with my Leemas mean I have too many speakers, these have to go!

These speakers have had new drivers fitted by Puresound, there is no foam rot issues here.

Would obviously prefer collection but i could possibly meet / arrange delivery .

Cracking speakers these :thumbsup: I could only have them hard up against the rear wall & they do like a little bit of room behind them... A new pair of bass drivers costs around £130 making these a complete bargain !

Must admit I was a tad wary about the JPWs overwhelming my tiny listening room with bass, but the moment they were connected up I knew they were rather special :eyebrows: Plonked James Newton Howard and Friends CD in the player and the bass transients are truly amazing with real attack and dynamics. Infinite baffle boxes rule! :stalks:

Agreed... Bit of a bargain I'd say ! When I last had them my room was just awful & anything bigger than a mini monitor sounded boomy [Rega Ela's had perfect bass!] I've since moved so I can finally appreciate what these AP3's do :cool:

After toying with the idea I'm now definitely going to be building Snell K crossovers to replace the stock JPW one's over Christmas which should be quite an upgrade :eyebrows: I'll do a thread when the time comes if it interests you ?
